Rose City United FC is proud to announce the appointment of Ryan Mendonca as Sporting Director, leading the Club's sporting and technical direction as we launch a new high-performance pathway for players across Windsor-Essex.

Ryan brings extensive experience in player development and technical leadership. He previously served as Sporting Director of Tecumseh Soccer Club, including its League1 Ontario program, Director of Player Development of Milton Magic FC and as Head Coach of the University of Windsor Men's Soccer program. A former NCAA goalkeeper at the University of Detroit Mercy, Ryan also brings strong connections throughout the Canadian and American university and college soccer communities.

As Sporting Director, Ryan will oversee Rose City United's iModel and OPDL programs, including the Club's player development philosophy, coaching standards, technical programming and high-performance pathway.

At the heart of Ryan's philosophy is a commitment to developing more than soccer players—creating an environment that encourages ownership, competitiveness, leadership and a lifelong love of the game, while helping every player pursue their individual potential.

Rose City United FC is a community-based, non-profit organization created through the collaboration of Caboto Soccer, LaSalle Stompers and Tecumseh United FC to build a stronger development pathway for local players.
